We are targeting, though not currently guaranteeing, product changes from eligible cards into EveryDay sometime in May.

Thanks travis,
From your knowledge, should I reduce my credit limit with Amex to improve my chance to be approved for this card? I have 26,200 on my Blue Sky (since I just did a random 3X CLI a couple months ago). This alone outweighs all my other cards, so I wonder if I have met the internal limit from Amex yet. I'm willing to give more personal information via message if you would request. Thanks!

I posted it before but I thought you didn't see it. Can't contact you through PM so I re-post it. Could you answer me this one? Thanks.

Would this include the BCE? I've been told the BCE can ONLY be changed into other cards in the "Blue" family.

Thanks Travis. Have you heard if the original Blue Card will be eligible? I've had it since 2003 and it doesn't get much use but the EveryDay one would. Thanks.

Another question... will BCP/BCE cardholders be ineligible for the signup bonuses for either card? I guess current cardholders can attest if they hold both BCP/Everyday

No. It's a different card. Should be eligible no matter what other AmEx you have/have had.
Citi Forward ($10.1K), AmEx Blue Cash Everyday ($30K), Chase Freedom ($12.4K), Discover it ($5.5K), Barclaycard Arrival ($12.5K), L.L. Bean Visa ($5K). FICO 806 (TU), 812 (EQ), 806 (EX).

If we identify you as currently having an American Express® Card account, you may not be eligible for this welcome bonus offer. This offer is also not available to applicants who have or have had this product.

That is pulled right from the AmEx site. I know once I had my first card getting additional sign up bonuses were next to impossible.

Would current cardholders who product change be eligible for the bonus 15,000/10,000 rewards points?

travisrauh wrote:Hi Daniel - the Preferred version can be found on the All Cards tab. As for the welcome bonus, you would be eligible. They need to change the wording on that. The rule is that you won't be eligible if you've had that card before.. Which since this is a brand new card wouldn't be possible. Hope that helps :-)

For who wants to know about sign up bonus eligibility
