Another question. I know it says there is no preset spending limit. Realistically speaking, what is the likely limit? I was thinking of using it for general purchases for now, so no more than $600-$800 for the month. Is that too much?

Your purchase ability is based on your credit score, income, history w/ Amex, etc. There's a button when you setup your online account called "Check Spending Ability" which will tell you whether or not a purchase would be approved. (Just don't abuse it =)

Depending on your income, $600-$800 seems pretty reasonable. I got my card in January and have been using it for work travel to the tune of $2000-$2500/mo and they haven't given me any grief so far.
