The direct offer from Amex is usually only 10k points. Amex frequently has the 25k offer but it is definitely not the standard offer - but it is common. I received the email from Amex directly targeting this card for 10k points on signup and then 15k when you spend $5k. Usually once a year Amex offers this card with 30k points.

I signed up online Monday, and Amex overnighted (with no request from me) my card and had it by 9 am on Tuesday.
