Seriously, it's like $2.08/ mo. for the $25 AF. Total minutiae in the big picture.

I've kept onto mine and got my credit reports recently; it's true about AAoA. All my Amex cards report from 2011 from which I got it.

Besides, if you even participate in Small Business Sat. w/ your Amex, it lessens the AF impact even more, not to mention Amex offers throughout the year on separate cards are cool too.

I know some folks are mad OCD and love to consolidate, so cancel if you will. But it's NOT a huge cost at that AF price imo. Just set up a reminder in your phone to spend on it every 6 months and you'll be good.
Currently: American Express Blue Sky, American Express Zync, Chase Freedom Visa, Capital One Newcomers--->converted to Capital One Quicksilver Mastercard NO AF

I appreciate the suggestions, but I just don't have the emotional connection to the ZYNC. However, my Blue Card, issued in the first year, will stay.

Maybe it would make sense to PC to Green? Otherwise if you really don't want it, let it go.

ZYNC cards can't PC as I understand it and, in any case I just got 1/2 price deal on my Gold Card ( Senior Charter member) so I am set. Thanks for the idea.
