Checked off one of my goal cards this week!

Postby joemacgames » Sat Dec 14, 2013 5:00 pm

I applied for and was instantly approved for the American Express Premier Rewards Gold a couple days ago! I know it's not that difficult to get, but I'm still excited.

I apped on my computer and when I submitted it, before the page even finished loading my phone rang notifying me of the email welcoming me to amex lol

Amex really knows how to welcome it's new members, the hard cover book that explains all the benefits is a nice touch. Mind you, there's a $175 annual fee, but still lol I can think of things I've bought that cost a lot more than that that didn't have a presentation half as nice.

I plan on remaining an amex member for a very long time

Definitely a great card. Apped for my PRG back in 2010. I then apped for my Plat in June 2013. Cancelled the PRG and opened an SPG Amex as well. Great company and great benefits. Things are changing a little bit with the Plat benefits, but I definitely enjoy being their customer.

Congratulations! I can definitely agree with you on the presentation of the card upon its arrival. It's the little touches that go a long ways.

Enjoy your new card!
