Can you limit the amount that an authorized user can charge on an AMEX charge card?

It can be done online under:

BofA Cash Rewards | CapitalOne QuickSilver | Discover More
Gold Delta AMEX | Citi DoubleCash | Citi Simplicity
Chase Freedom | Kohls Charge Card

Thanks - Thinking about making my teen an authorized user, but only if this option is available.

Don't mean to go off topic but are there other card issuers that have this ability to limit per authorized user?

Amex BCE: 3% grocery, 2% gas
Bank of America Better Balance Rewards MC: $25/quarter bonus
Barclaycard Rewards Visa Signature: 2% gas, groceries, utilities
Capital One Quicksilver Visa Signature: 1.5% everything
Chase Freedom Visa Signature: 5% rotating
Citi Forward Visa: 5% restaurants/fastfood, movie theaters, amazon.com
Discover It: 5% rotating
SallieMae MC: 5% Groceries, Gas, Amazon
US Bank Cash+ Visa Signature: 5% electronic stores, restaurants
Sock Drawered: Chase Sapphire, Chase Amazon

Not that I know of for certain. Discover for sure does not allow this (I asked). Didn't try with any of the other cards.

For business cards, it's pretty common. For personal cards, I don't know of any.

Also: note the AMEX limit is per statement period. If you give someone a $1000 limit, that means they can spend $1000 a month, month after month. (I don't know if they make payments if they can spend more.)

The lowest limit is $200 per month on Amex and like others mentioned, its per month. Not $200 until they pay it off. I'm also not sure what happens if they make a payment but I suspect it doesn't matter.
