Got an email..!

Postby jumbo » Thu Sep 26, 2013 10:08 am

Hello,
I got an email from amex, below is the screenshot of the email.
Does this mean I am pre-approved and have higher chances of getting the card?
I had applied for BCE in August 2012, but was denied, due to high debt-to-credit ratio and too many inquiries. I have not applied for any amex after that.

Every "pre-approved offer" I have ever received uses those exact words somewhere. This looks like a standard "pre-qualified" solicitation to me. But to be honest, what do I know?
Cards:
Chase Sapphire Preferred
Marriott Rewards
Citi Hilton
Barclay Arrival
AMEX BCE (member since 95)
Chase Freedom
Discover It
Wells Fargo Platinum
Barclaycard (Apple)

TU: 824 (Aug 2014)
Experian: 789 (Aug 2014)
Equifax: 807 (Aug 2014)
