Asked Amex thru chat today If they could give me some free MR points for just being a good customer. Received 1000 points, already have posted to my account. Not bad for just asking out of no where.

This morning I was talking to a CSR via secure message in regards to some charges on my account. After I had all my questions asked, the CSR asked if I had my card handy  (Figured for security purposes)? He asked me to verify the 4 numbers on the front and the last 3 numbers on the back. A few moments later he comes back with "As a courtesy i'd like to offer you 3000 points :D ." and thanked me for keeping my accounts in good standing.

I know 3000 points may not be a substantial amount, but it's better than nothing I suppose.

@rmferrer- hey, 3,000 pts aren't bad; you would've had to spend $3,000 to get that right? ;)

Maybe I'll fire up a chat and talk to someone about some Blue Sky points :P

That's really cool. I may give it a shot as well, however I'm keeping an eye out for that bear. That bear is nothing but trouble.
