That's what I read over at the AmEx forum. Apparently none of the Delta Cards can get EMV yet either.

Ah that's sorta good news to hear about the Zync; I've requested three times in the last week to get a Zync outfitted w/ the EMV chip to no avail. I actually called tonight and they told me the same thing; he couldn't tell me why, but will be available after October 30th regarding the Zync exclusively.

Looks like I gotta set a reminder on the calendar; however that's about time I'll be hitting the 6-month mark for a CLI on my Blue Sky (which was successfully outfitted with EMV)!

Likewise for me too- although I find it weird I got a handful of calls from Amex from the same female representative requesting I call her back regarding my Zync account…anyone else get a call about their Zync accounts w/ chip and sig? She stressed it was not a marketing call, but rather information she wanted to share regarding my account. Not sure if it's related to the chip+sig, general info, or whatever. I haven't had a chance to call her back since she works 9-5 like I do.

My service has been wonky the last week or so, which might explain why I never received calls but had several voicemails later in the week after a phone reset.

I used the chat function a couple days ago and was told that Chip and Signature is only available for Platinum and Centurion. Her answers seemed to be very generic so I gave them a call after the chat ended. The rep told me that EMV is available for the Zync and he offered it to UPS it to me by 10/29. Lets see when I get home.
Amex's chat functions seems to be outsourced to a group of people that do not bother to actually read msgs or they cannot speak english. I think its the latter and they input request into google translate.
