Question on BCP 6% & Other Category Entitlement

Postby Wildcat_1 » Tue Jul 30, 2013 10:54 pm

All

I saw an intriguing post on FT that stated the 6% on groceries up to $6k was per calendar year, therefore get the card now, hit $6k before dec and then you get to do the same again before the anniversary of the card next year.

When I looked at the Ts & Cs it mentioned it defined this as a reward year WFH was 12 months from January therefore was a little confused if what was mentioned on FT would work or not.

Can anyone confirm or deny you could benefit from this potential calendar year piece ?

Thanks

WC

Could you post a link to FT so we can see exactly what was posted?

Takeshi, certainly, please take a look at post #17. If correct then I would definitely plan to jump on the app soon for the double deal so to speak. Also mentions a $250 sign up bonus in that thread through CM rather than the standard $150.

Yes. If you get the card right now and spend 6k before the end of the calendar year (dec), the cap will renew next calendar year (jan) and will be able to spend another 6k to get 6%.
