Yup, I have a Zync. I decided to hang on to it for nostalgic reasons. And based on what I've read here, the rumours regarding the Zync, I'm glad I did. I actually do use it occasionally.

If they bring it back with benefits more in line with the other chargers, I'm all in for that!

Lucky you, when I was approved for my BCE I found out that Amex had a Zync card but wasnt able to find it.. till i got to their application page for the Zync trough a direct link from google- it had a message stating that they were no longer taking any more applications... -moment of silence-

If they still offered it for the 25 annual fee I'd probably apply for it just for a 25 dollar a year backdated card, honestly. And it does look cool....

BCP is probably my favorite AmEx card for everyday spending.

I don't travel enough for Platinum so for me the PRG works. But I think the green card has the best look of any card. So distinctive. The classic card.
Cards:
Chase Sapphire Preferred
Marriott Rewards
Citi Hilton
Barclay Arrival
AMEX BCE (member since 95)
Chase Freedom
Discover It
Wells Fargo Platinum
Barclaycard (Apple)
Local Credit Union Visa (buy local!)

FICO Scores:
TU: 824 (Aug 2014)
Experian: 789 (Aug 2014)
Equifax: 807 (Aug 2014)

Although the benefits aren't as great relative to their prices and the products of competitors, i like the charge cards. I don't know, just nostalgia I guess. They're classic.
AMEX PRG~1/14--backdated to 2012
AMEX BCE~6/13--backdated to 2012
Chase Freedom~5/13
Discover IT ~12/12

SPG for me. Though I use my BCP for groceries and gas, the airline miles transfer of the SPG is one benefit no other card can compare to. (Transfer 20K and you get 5K bonus) I travel to Asia every other year and when I can accumulate miles faster, I cannot tell you how fun it is to travel in business class (sometimes first class) practically for the cost of an economy flight.

I'm hoping any relaunch of Zync (I'm NOT disclosing any AmEx plans!) will feature my picture instead of the traditional centurion dude.
Poke me and I will F/R you
