amex cli amusement

Postby flan » Mon Jul 29, 2013 6:18 pm

I just asked for, and received, a 3x increase on a blue sky account. Immediately before I did that, I used the 'will my charges be approved' button for the 2x amount. Not approved.

For the tea leaf readers out there, I don't use the card much, and have lately only used it at liquor stores, night clubs, and parking meters.

So you tried to spend double the amount of a your limit on a hard limit card? That's probably why it was not approved.

I've charged ~2.5 times the limit on the card before. I called and talked to a rep about it first, though. think I may have given authorization for a draft against a checking account.
paid it inside the week.

Throw in some trips to strip joints and massage parlors and it can be your card of choice for vice :)
