Yeah I called the status line a few minutes ago and same results - it said it was in a computer that can't be accessed by the status line or the CSRs.

I mean there has to be something weird going on. I'm going to have to try to talk with someone who can hopefully help me. When I get out of work I'll ask to speak with a CSR and hope for an American.

You might also try using Twitter or asking one of the Amex community forum girls that mod the site. Seems like when it's made public they want to show they're taking care of people.

I actually called and it said the same thing when I got out of work but I pressed the number to speak with a CSR. The rep looked into it, and didn't tell me what the problem had been (who knows, one of those things I guess) and I was approved for the card, limit of 2k.

Now that brings the dilemna that my BCP is due for 61 day CLI in a few days. HOWEVER 2k on the BCP is fine for gas groceries and department stores, I could really use the increase on the Blue Sky instead. So if I go for it and get an increase I can't ask again on either of them for 6 months. So now I'm debating whether to forego the CLI on the BCP and instead wait and do it on the BSP.

Decisions, decisions. What do you think AmEx Bear?

I think you're lucky I approved you. I'd lay low for a bit. Low. Very low. I'd not make any moves on any AmEx cards for at least 6 months; whether it be new adds, CLI, or even poking me via the "Will my charges be approved after a nifty F/R?" button. Low. Very low.
Poke me and I will F/R you

Can I at least post humorous remarks on the Amex Community?

More like Amex Bully. Surely you can find someone to pick on who is more deserving than 99...ok maybe not, but still. You deserve a good poking every now and then.
