AMEX and Centurion representation

Postby Kaiokenryu » Mon Jul 15, 2013 8:06 pm

Where can I find some anecdotal reading about why AMEX uses the centurion image. I have read and watched videos on the history of the card....but no mention of the roman officer on all cards.

Also....not all cards have the same quality image of the centurion....mine is a clearly visible 3D watermark while the green and above have a more ornate character. maybe this is part of the card caste system they have?

I just read/commented on your "loyalty or utility" thread over on the Amex forum a bit ago. I'm not really saying I don't believe you but your story sounds unusual for a Cent holder.

What is, "The One?" I would think that'd refer to a Cent card.

No...its literally called the "One" card from American Express...discontinued about 3 years ago. Its a non revolver that used to have the 1% rewards saving account attached to it.
