Ah. I Googled it a minute ago. I've only been with Amex and paid attention to credit cards for about the last year and a half or two years. I had never heard of it and I feel kind of dumb now.

Silly enough that's one of the reasons I chose it....I like the name.....and the fact it paid me cash for using it. The account before being discontinued was a blessing when my son was born. I was sad to see them stop that cause I was on a nice little roll there for the first three years.

Yeah, that's a shame. Would something like the Fidelity Amex work for you?

Not right now. At a lil different place in my life now and have transitioned to a more serious card.....for those purposes. I think I'm done for some time. Three cards is enough. My One may get a little brother or sister someday....I want my history with amex to go from a 6 year starter wine to a heavily matured Hennesey X.O. (ironically purchased with amex) before I even look at another card.

Hmmmmm.....where's my tulip glass?

Ha I understand. I only use 3 cards regularly. The other 3 stay at home in the safe and are at zero balances. I have more spending power than I'll ever need so I'm in the same boat. Now the goal for me is to some day make the kind of money necessary to have enough disposable income to get that Cent invitation, but I'm probably dreaming. One thing I do like about Amex is the large limits they have given me in our short history of doing business together. I can be approved for an absolutely ridiculous amount on my Platinum Card, and my BCP limit is my highest limit revolver. I will try to bump my CSP up there to equal it next month, and then I'm leaving everything alone for a long time.

I know the feeling - I'm a master something or other.
