I do have a corporate card but that is through my job however the platinum card i got in june, was the first card through amex i recently got the SPG as well and it was a measly 1k. i called them to get a limit increase and the rep said i had not had the card for 90 days therefore they couldn't extend the limit, my question is on the site it says you can only request every 6 months does this apply to me since i was never really eligible? I wanted to call back and ask but came here first i feel it shouldn't since they did not get past the you have not had the card for 90 days.
The first CLI you can request is 61 days from activation of you card. After that it is either 6 months if approved for a CLI or 90 days if you were not approved for a CLI. They will not even look at your account if you have not waited any of those days. Also do not ask for more then 3x your CL when processing a CLI as it will usually Auto Decline. Also DO NOT go above 25000 limit on a single card as they will probably FR you. The FR differs for each person but the CLI policy is the same for everyone. Also, If you have more then one revolver with AMEX the days above are for all accounts not each account.
