AMEX declined for no reason

Was buying about $20 worth of goods from store and card got declined. I had just spend another $20 or so on food and card was declined, No fraud call or anything. No notice on account. Weird?

I had the same problem last month too - turned out there were fraud alerts on the card. As MemberSince99 said - call them !

Happened to me years ago filling up my car. They tried to call me at work and couldn't reach me. Like MemberSince99 & fantasy86dj have said, give them a call.

I just got the card 2 days ago. I called and had it resolved
