I dare anyone to go to a store, load up the checkout counter and hopefully it's a big sale. Then present Amex card. If they say no, then here us the dare........ you look at them and say "oh, no sale then" and walk out.

That will be awkward and may generate a few unsavory comments.

There's only been 3 business I've been to that don't have the Amex sticker in the window but still accept it. Only one of the business I been to can process Amex cards, but the business owner refuses because they get charged 10% swype fee. I can't believe they are allowed to charge as much as 10%. That's highway robbery.

That's gotta be high, there is no way they can charge that much. Maybe he just says that to justify not using Amex?
