You are doing well to understand them, but if you think about it, that's not really important anyway since they just read from scripts and what they are saying may or may not be relevant and may or may not be correct. You might as well ask your Magic 8 ball and use that for the answer. I've literally called them one day and asked a question and called the next day asking the same question and gotten a totally different answer each time.

It is as close to "Peggy" as you will find.

No one gets a Cap One for the great customer service.

Haha I loved those Discover Peggy adverts (I'm in the US a lot). I don't know about the US but its very unusual to get Indian call centres from financial companies in the UK now (Only other financial company is Barclays/BarclayCard and the Indian call centre is just an over flow call centre). I normally either get British or American Customer service teams and occasionally other European call centres with Amex but they all speak perfectly understandable English.

I requested them and they said they can not provide my credit report used to approve my application. They said its system which pulls the report and make decision and we have no way to get that report and send to you. I think its a lie, but anyways i am not worried about getting report now.

MemberSince99 wrote:You can ask - the worst they can say is no. You can also ask for your EX FICO score they will probably give you that.

You can always buy your scores at any time, and once a year you have the right to a free credit report from each bureau.
