Automatic CLI's?

Postby Okie21 » Thu May 09, 2013 1:54 pm

I recall reading on this forum somewhere that AMEX did a 3x CLI after a period of months, or at least had a specific card that they did that with. Am I crazy? I just got the BCE and the rep at AMEX said there is no automatic CLI, but that I could request one after 3 months. Can anyone clear up whether or not they do, or have done the auto 3x CLI?

Its not an auto CLI; its just that the time period to be eligible to request a CLI is 61 days after opening and then 6 months after each CLI.

Posted in another thread this morning about this but I called and asked for 3X cli and was instantly approved. The waiting time is 60 days. Most call in after 61 I waited longer about 65. They even offer 4X cli. was surprise when the customer rep told me that today.
