Applied for Green

Postby HookEmHorns » Thu May 02, 2013 6:10 pm

Application was cancelled and I received this message..

Thank you for applying for the Green Card(R). Before we can finish processing your application, we need the following information from you:

Your current home address. Please provide a current monthly utility statement or an active bank statement with your current address dated within the last 60 days. We are unable to accept cellular phone statements, insurance information, invoices or receipts to verify your home address.

Anybody else have this happen to them? Seems to me they would have just denied me if they didn't like my credit profile. I faxed the information today. Hopefully this is just a delayed approval?

If you just moved, they may need to verify your current address. Credit reports don't necessarily update addresses very often. It's as much to protect your identity as it is to protect their money.

Yeah. My partner just recently applied for the Chase Sapphire Preferred, and received the 7-10 day pending message, despite having a 785 experian score and two other high-limit cards with Chase!

We called back a day later and all they needed was to verify his address and place of employment. Boom. Done.

Don't let the pending message scare you. It could be as little as verifying your middle name.

Let us know how it goes! Take no prisoners! Demand to speak with Kenneth Chenault if all else fails!

It was approved! Because my utility bill didn't have my entire address on it I had them call my bank to verify the address. Two minutes later they approved me!

Now, the question is: what will your unforgettable, landmark first purchase?

Good man. I mean, who doesn't like gas? Well, except for the guy standing behind ya.
