Summer travel with AMEX MR Points

Postby AMEXAT19 » Thu Apr 18, 2013 11:27 am

Since Decemeber 2011, i have accumulated 23,732 MR points, I will be vacationing in May to Miami and San Juan, considering using Pay with Point. My question is which way will I get the most bang for my buck, should I use Pay with Points or transfer my points to a Delta SkyMiles account.

I'm thinking Skymiles transfer but someone needs to do the actual math.
Cards:
American Express Platinum (NPSL)
Penfed Platinum Reward Visa ($28K)
Chase Freedom Visa ($25K)
Fidelity American Express ($20K)
American Express Blue Cash Preferred ($20K)
Bank of America Cash Rewards MasterCard ($20K)
Citi Thank You Preferred Visa ($9.5K)
Chase Sapphire Preferred ($7.5K)
US Bank Cash + Visa Signature ($7K)
Discover IT ($4K)

There's a lot of reviews about maximizing point value, I believe transferring points to SkyMiles is the best route, but I'm not good with numbers, so sorry I can't show you.
Wallet: Amex BCE & Chase Freedom. (Credit Card dieting since 2014)

I just moved points to Starwood and paid for a hotel in London, England for a week in September. So there are options.
American Express: Platinum, Zync, Platinum Delta SkyMiles, Blue, Starwood Preferred Guest
Barclaycard US: iTunes Reward Visa, US Airways Premier World MasterCard
Chase: Sapphire Preferred Visa Signature, Freedom Visa
Citi Bank: Hilton HHonors Visa Signature, AAdvantage Platinum Select World Elite MasterCard
Bank of America Virgin Atlantic World Elite MasterCard
Discover: Discover it
Other:Macy's Star Rewards, Target REDCard
