Also, as far as charge cards go, its the ultimate luxury. Apply for the Premiere Rewards Gold if you can get a signup bonus and no annual fee the first year. AMEX points are still like gold (no pun intended) with their flexibility. I just love my PRG cause I don't have to worry about credit limits or denials or anything else. If they take AMEX, it will be approved. And the more you charge, the more you spend. After scouring many many forums, i've concluded this: although there is "No Preset Spending Limit" on the charge cards, AMEX determines your "Spending Ability" based on your charge & payment pattern. After 9 months of charging about $1000/month, and paying right after closing, I can spend up to about $10,000. As far as the utilization, you should be fine with the other cards in your account as long as you keep low balances.

Vandal- Well at least now you know what they are..lol. And don't sweat it to much, we all have made mistakes in the beginning part of credit in some form, you have done well, so now I think it would be a good time to get some accounts that you really want and see where it takes you. Good luck!

Don't apply for the Gold, the rewards aren't that great for the 125$ fee. Get the PRG or just try for on their revolvers and see what happens. Worst comes to worse you can apply again once every 6 months to a year so that they won't deny you for so many inquiries. Good luck!

Well I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the cards!
And I was approved for both the Gold Card and BCE that were applied for at the exact same time using two browsers!
I am very excited to start using these cards, thanks everyone for the help in my decisions!
