AmEx 3x Credit Limit Increase - Checking Experian Soft Pulls

Postby tigerowl06 » Sat Apr 13, 2013 10:45 pm

I'm coming up on the 61 day mark on my BCE. I let the card hit with a balance last statement ~$1300 (PIF before interest, of course). I won't let it hit with a balance this time. What is the best way for me to check my Experian credit report to see that Amex has pulled after the second statement? I have already used my one free credit report this year.

Thanks!

Does the main service let you see soft pulls, or are you talking about their $9 credit report offer?

According to this Credit Sesame doesn't show soft pulls.

If you have an account with Experian, you can log in to your account, and in the "report" section, you can choose to dispute an entry. You'll be prompted to put in your ID information, Experian will generate a report from which you can dispute information. This will give you up-to-the-minute information on your account, including all hard and soft pulls. Of course, you don't have to dispute anything, you can simply back out of the report once you're finished.
