wanting to switch from delta to

Postby waffled » Fri Mar 29, 2013 10:55 am

I have two Gold Delta Skymiles, one personal with $7700 limit, and one business with $3000 limit.
Basically, I want to combine their limits and upgrade to a platinum charge card, will they allow me to do this? Would I even get accepted for the Platinum?

I am 22 and my credit right now is at about 706, pay on-time 100%, my total limit is $51k.

You cannot product change credit card(s) to a charge card. The best way to do it would be to upgrade your PRG to a Platinum. I'm not sure if they'd combine your limits on the Delta cards since one is personal and one is business. For less cards, cancel one, keep one, and ask for a CLI. No late payments and you already have a PRG, so yeah, you'll be approved for Platinum.

With AMEX, only charge cards can be converted.

Not true. Revolvers can be switched out as well. Just not across personal and business lines of credit.
