Congrats! But why carry both? The initial rewards? Both in your pocket are expensive for AFs.
Cards:
American Express Platinum (NPSL)
Penfed Platinum Reward Visa ($28K)
Chase Freedom Visa ($25K)
Fidelity American Express ($20K)
American Express Blue Cash Preferred ($20K)
Bank of America Cash Rewards MasterCard ($20K)
Citi Thank You Preferred Visa ($9.5K)
Chase Sapphire Preferred ($7.5K)
US Bank Cash + Visa Signature ($7K)
Discover IT ($4K)

Both cards will backdate to 1984, so I'm very excited about your news as it's just a matter of time before it happens for me.

Oh, I got approved for Global Entry this week. Have to do an interview at SFO, but I couldn't get an appt until June (not a problem..My next international trip is in November).

Congrats again, Prady!!

Well PRG is my regular usage card coz of triple points and double points stuff.

Platinum is for travelling, extra baggage, lounges and everything coz im travelling quite a bit this year at least. If u see its around $40 a month to keep a platinum. I'll see how first year goes if not then ill drop it.

If you decide to keep the Platinum, I believe you can have the annual fee waived for the PRG. That's what I've heard, anyway. I plan on trying that someday so that I can still get the 2X and 3X PRG category points and only pay the Platinum annual fee instead of both annual fees.
Amex Platinum
Amex BCP 21K
Amex SPG 5K
Barclaycard Arrival Plus WEMC 5K
Chase Sapphire Preferred 23.5K
Credit Union 10K
Discover IT 7.75K
