Online Account Activated But No Card Yet

Postby ncosky290 » Fri Feb 15, 2013 10:45 pm

I recently was approved for Gold Delta card and did the set up account email that used the reference number. I later received a welcome email that did display last 5 digits of account number. So I tried to log into my online account and bam it was set up and i could see everything except for APR displays and things that require the 4 digit number. Is this normal?

Yep! That's normal. Same with other card issuers, like Chase, where you can see the account online before the card is in your hands.

I could see the CL, APR, etc. for my Chase Sapphire Preferred, but can't access all of the features until my card was active and in my hands. With AmEx, you have to have either the 3 digit or 4 digit security code to access certain online features.
Looking to maximize credit, for myself and others.

Fidelity Investment Rewards
American Express Platinum for Morgan Stanley
Chase Sapphire Preferred

thanks for the heads up. I have been waiting for the Amex to arrive for over a week. Not that I need it, I just want it. I hate waiting. If it doesn't come today I will have to wait until Tuesday to check again. Annoying!

I was in your boat about a week ago. Got all the online account ready and even got my credit score in the mail from Amex, but no card. I was pretty impatient lol. It took a total of about 10 days for mine. Applied/approved Saturday. Came on a Tuesday. Toughest waiting time. Hope you get yours soon!

Got Mine yesterday. Weird though. It was a Gold Delta Card and it says Gold on the paperwork but the card color is Platinum. Guess they ran out of gold cards. LOL
