Please let us know if you get them. I was under the impression that they were rolling it out slowly on the higher end cards so I would be pleased if they are available on Zync.

I just got a platinum card a few days ago with no chip :-\ I am not the primary so maybe that's why. Still, that's kind of stupid.

Thanks. Good to hear USAA also is offering them. I emailed AMEX and they responded that the EMV is not available on my Zync but it is available on my Blue. They said I will need to call in order to ask for the card.

Thats odd. The rep said I would be getting both. I guess I will have to wait and see what shows up.

EDIT: Just called and double checked and the rep confirmed it was for both cards. They should arrive tomorrow at my home address and will have to be forwarded to me where I currently am studying. Once they show up I will post the results and maybe some pics.

I wonder if this will ever be available on Chase Sapphire Preferred since it's metal. I may call in the next few days and see if I can have my PRG and Blue changed.

This is what USAA just sent me about their card

Dear XXXX XXXXX,

Congratulations! You've converted your USAA MasterCard® account ending in XXXX to a chip and PIN account on usaa.com. Chip and PIN technology helps to increase the security of your account by decreasing counterfeit risks and unauthorized transactions.

Chip and PIN account reminders
For security purposes, your new credit card and four-digit PIN will be mailed to you separately. Expect to receive them within the next 10 business days. Then:

Activate your new card and destroy the old one.
Memorize your new PIN and/or keep your PIN mailer in a secure location. (PIN information won't be stored. If a PIN is forgotten, a new one will need to be ordered.)
Enjoy your new card!

For more information about chip and PIN accounts, please read our FAQs. As always, we appreciate the opportunity to serve all your financial needs.

Thank you,
USAA Savings Bank
