SparkyinCA wrote:Basically, I did, cashback :) Just so tired of horrendous postings from folks that never call them on what they write thinking they are helping others. I'm absolutely looking for the best info on Amex products and when I see what Money Card gets away with I can't believe no one objects (out of fear of being banned). But there comes a point where it's not worth being part of the community when folks are not called on their garbage. I truly don't mean to belittle anyone. I'm just frustrated because this forum has the potential to be one of the best out there to learn about Amex so I'm only pointing out the obvious that no one else is willing to confront. Money Card is probably a very nice guy, but he shouldn't be advising anyone in regards to credit. His postings are concrete evidence of it! Just go back and read what he tells people they should do and if you don't come to the same conclusion, then you need to learn much more as well.

I'll get off my soapbox now. Sorry to ruffle feathers here. It's the first time I've felt that enough is enough and have to post about it. If you think I'm being too harsh, just click on Money Cards name, read his prior postings going back at least a year and it will prove that I'm correct.

I dont think anyone here is scared of calling anyone out on their crap, most posters here just realize this isnt the place to do so, its not the high school lunch room, its a online forum talking about credit and credit cards.

there is always going to be someone less helpful or completely useless wherever you are. Whether he is that person here doesnt really matter, he isnt advocating the best advice, perhaps, But he isnt telling anyone anything that will hurt them or their credit. It is the responsibility of the readers of this forum for their actions regarding their own credit situation and while you make some good points, I dont think it solves anything by ranting about his or her shortcomings.

You call "him" misogynistic and never even gave a thought to Moneycard being female. I will assume "he" is but still a funny hypocritical comment ;)

I do wish he would have read my comment before posting his own, it would have at least served to educate him about the basics of the card LOL

Are you a misogynist or what??). Look it up. You probably haven't a clue what it means! Your postings are some of the worst I've ever read on any Forum on the internet anywhere, consistently. Stop with the opinions on who shops where and what class level they are. I throw up a little every time I see and read your postings. Please stop. You post the worst comments and come across as if the highest level place you shop is Walmart for crying out loud. You don't even know the difference between "there and theirs" which means you probably were not educated above High School.

Common...stop posting your drivel and class related opinions and jerkwad statements. You have 1,351 postings of complete garbage and you are spoiling the potential of a very good forum on Amex products.

However, knowing you, you never go back and read any comments, so I'm probably wasting my time requesting you stop posting. I know others on here laugh at everything you write, they are just afraid to tell you to stop. I know I may get banned from here, but please anyone reading this, go and read Money Card's advice to people and you will see what I mean by how bad his comments are to anyone that understands credit or has an IQ over 2 digits and please post comments back to object to his absolute crap he posts.

Thank you. End of rant with all due respect!

If you don't like my post that's fine. but theres no reason to yell at anybody here. you must have found something intresting or you would not have posted. Yes the clear card isn't for business men some people have never heard of this card, I was just explaining to them what the card is like, using comparsions , my 1,351 post are not garbage. if you don't like my post then you don't ever need to
answer them. but I post to the best of my ability.

I applaud you for responding to a very inflammatory, disrespectful post in a mature way :)

Fartanywherecard wrote:Is this actually the easiest card to get (charge and credit cards included)? About.com says it's for fair-excellent credit (approx. 660+ FICO score). I suppose it's a card for people who like to submit late payments since there are no fees of any kind. That's not me, but I'd imagine a card marketed that way is for people with not-so-excellent credit, which is me.

Also, I wonder if they allow you to upgrade from this card if you'd have to do an entirely new application. I'm guessing the latter. I will call and find out if nobody knows the answer.

:ppp

I'm going to say that you can't upgrade this card because it's a different kind of card. for example if you had a blue cash preferred card and you wanted to lower your level the the basic blue cash card that you can do, you can change from the green card to the gold card no hard pull just a product change. but you can't change the clear to anything .

Agreed x100.

Grammar and proper spelling get you a long way. Typing like a four year old makes it hard to take him seriously. It's like his posts/rants are never on-topic and always about "businessmen".
