Anyone know about this card?

Info/comments appreciated!

If the offer is 2% cash back on gas and groceries and 1% elsewhere, I'd look elsewhere.

I had one last year. FNBO is known to be a conservative lender (they are strict on approvals and limits). Every application is manually reviewed so there are no instant approvals with them.

In terms of rewards it's as David said. It's not bad, not great, somewhere in the middle.

CS is all American no script readers you can't understand (not that it matters what lies those people tell you even if you could understand them....).

They are a good bank to be in with, even if the rewards aren't exactly the Cash + card sort. They pulled EXP for me.

I'm told if I remember right that you can request a CLI every 4 months and if you call them I believe it's not a hard pull. That's the best that I can remember about that, but there is a way to get CLIs from them without taking hard pulls.

Hope this info helps you make a decision.

And I assume you know it's not actually an Amex, it's an FNBO card that uses the Amex network (in other words if you call Amex about the card they won't know anything about it or be able to help you). I do not mean to offend just want to be sure you know that, sorry if it comes across as bad it's not my intent.

It's not a real American Express card. it just processes through first bank of omaha. there foreign transaction fee is 3%
I don't know what the rewards are. I've had a few applications sent to me , it's certainly not the card for me.
Dave is correct.
