Approved for BCP

Postby Randiesel75 » Mon Jan 07, 2013 9:37 am

I just got my feet wet with AMEX. In all the years of working with credit, it has been Visa, MasterCard and Discover for me. I just couldn't pass up seeing the benefits of the BCP card.

I called and was instantly approved for $10K !!!

Congratulations! That's a nice initial limit on a great card. I like Amex, and I like that they do back dating. They have been really good to me so far, but I hope I never get the dreaded FR. Just FYI: If you ever get or have one of their charge cards, don't play around with the "check spending availability" button.

Yeah, been following the other thread where this has been discussed. As this is my first dance with AMEX, its all new learning for me. I tell you what, the experience with the CSR on the phone this morning was very pleasant.

With this new card all groceries and gas will go AMEX, travel and dining on CSP and IT will be there for the 5% rotating, which will be huge next holiday season.

Also, make sure you thumb through the forum and read up on the possible credit limit increase you can get 61 days after activating your card.

Will do. Although, anything over $10K is really unnecessary for me, at least at this point.

It might trigger a financial review.
