Maybe you missed my point, dont delete this thread, CLOSE IT, no productive discussion has really developed from the OP's story or at least it has all been said. There are a million stories of good and bad relationships with Amex, just like any other creditor. Please dont jump in the bandwagon thinking people just want to silence others.
BTW a troll IMO is someone who comes by, insults or makes a hyperbolic claim and then never comes back to argue his position or update his experience. For anyone on the fence or either side of using or not using Amex, give them a try and then make up your decision. They treat everyone on an individual level, why shouldnt you do the same to them?
