Thank you. And I just applied for the Discover More, but it says that they need to do additional processing, so I guess I will find out soon enough.

If you have to recon Discover I would mention that you have a card with Citi. I've heard they can be quite competitive and will grant cards when they hear you have a different card from another company.

Vermonster- I did not have to recon with Discover, I called in last night, they verified my social, address, zip code, and date of birth, and the CSR comes back and tells me "Congrats, welcome to the Discover family"! And they gave me a limit of 1,500 (same as my citi card.) I was going to ask for more, but I decided to keep my mouth shut, and say thank you. So YAY! I got approved for 2 cards this weekend, I could not have done it without the posters on this thread, helping me out (Signhere, Sakhalin, WSR6, CC Deville, DavidNY, t528491, 432521, DoingHomework, Cardinal, and anybody else that posted in the thread.)

So these are my next three cards, and then I will garden for a long time

Chase Freedom in December
AMEX Gold in December
AMEX Blue Cash in May or June of next year.

And then I will garden for 1-2 years (I hope..lol.)

Congrats! I'm glad it worked out for you.

I would say you'll have a good very good chance at the Chase in December. Especially after the Citi and Discover start reporting.

Yay, congrats on the Discover! We now have the same cards (except I have a BoA Platinum Plus and you have the Cash Rewards). I'm thinking about the Chase Freedom too, and AMEX BCE too. We should apply around the same time lol

But yeah, enjoy your two new cards! Which designs did you choose? I chose the default black and green card for the Forward, and Discover just sent me a random design, the guitar one, which isn't too shabby. But I really like the design of the IT so I might just PC to that hahaha.

I have the black/green forward card and I've had a few different More cards but in the end I just like the classic silver one with the orange border the best and I've stored all the "picture" ones away...even black glow isn't cool at all in person because it doesn't shine and is very dull. But congrats on your approvals and now you've got a good plan for the future. A thread that is now in it's 12th page could have been figured out in maybe 2 pages but hey, at least you got the result you were looking for. Good luck in the future!

Also I don't know if this is the case for everyone but my Discover card being my 2nd oldest card still has not reported yet and I've read it can take up to 6 months for them to report a card. All my other cards are being reported with the exception of my new Amex. You should still be good to go to apply in December though and it may just take a recon with both to get accepted.

My Discover hasn't reported either, but I just got it the beginning of October. Damn, you heard it takes six months for it to report? That sucks.

Vermonster- Thank you! I hope to have a good chance against Chase when I apply in December. Thank you for any advice you've given on this thread.
Sak- LOL @ "the we should apply at the same time". As for the designs, I chose the default (black and green for the citi card) and for my Discover card, I chose what WS6R6 has, the classic silver one.
W- I hope that is not the case, six months to report? I wonder why they take so long to report?

I don't know man, I'm on 2 months now with nothing reported from them. Soon my new amex will be on there then I'll just be waiting for Discover to get caught up!
