I have 2 accounts with the same last 5 digits

I have a bit of a problem. I had an AMEX Zync credit card, and I wanted to get a credit card with revolving credit. After applying for 2 student credit cards, and getting denied because I did not have enough revolving credit, I decided to go for the AMEX Blue Everyday, and hope that because I am already an existing customer that I would be approved. I was.

When I got the credit card, I noticed that my Zync and Blue had the same last 5 digits, and it was nearly impossible for me to tell them apart on sites like Amazon.

Can I call up AMEX and get them to send out another Blue with different numbers? Would this affect my credit score? Do I just have to live with it?

They will likely have to issue a new account number on one of the accounts by processing a lost/stolen. This will not impact your credit as it will have the same open date. I do not believe AMEX reports lost/stolen trade lines, but even if they did that won't hurt your score.
