Yes. For the OP...I think this shows that because your plat is a business and not a personal...you dont get a shazzy box unfortunately

I recevied my personal plat a little over a month ago. I also DID NOT receive a fancy benefits package. It came via UPS in a white plain evelope like the rest of my amex cards. Although the card was expedited (i did not request it) via UPS 2-3 day delivery. Maybe that had something to do with it. Either way doesn't bother me about the packaging.

I was told that if you expedited your card it will come in just a plain envelope so I waited the 5 days and got the fancy white cardboard box with pretty hardcover book title 'Your Guide to Platinum Card Membership'

AmEx expedited my Delta Reserve to me, so I got the card overnight. I activated it, used it as normal, and about four days later one of those boxes with detailed benefits, etc. came, as did a new card!

Another part to the story, but since I had already updated all of my recurring bills with the one that was overnighted, I simply I threw the newest one away.

I was feeling lazy, so I didn't cut it up... three weeks later, fraud. Learn from my mistake!
Looking to maximize credit, for myself and others.

I received my personal Plat last year via 2 day UPS in a white box containing these two items. I've read somewhere people have received a big FHR hard cover booklet as well. Is this true?

I think the FHR is an anual publication. I seem to recall getting several over the years. Not sure if it was HC or not though.

I received my business plat about 10 months ago in a white envelope that was inside a nice box just like the ones shown in the previous posts. It contained the benefits booklet, the card agreement, the card, of course, the works. I was really impressed by the way Amex presented their Platinum. I thought it was a bid deal. And I still do. The benefits that come with my business plat have offset the AF ten times over. I will gladly be renewing soon. But I should tell you that mine came regular mail, USPS. and not UPS.
Cards:
American Express: Business Platinum-NPSL, Delta SkyMiles Gold-$2K
Chase: Sapphire Preferred-$5K, Southwest Airlines Visa-$3.7K, Freedom-$400
USAA: Platinum MC-$4K, Advantage Rate MC-$4K, Amex-$4K
FBNO: BucksBack Visa-$1K, Amex-$1.7K
GECRB: Walmart Discover-$3,7K
Barclays: Financing Visa-$3.2K, Juniper MC-$1.1K
Capital One: Platinum MC-$1.5K, Platinum MC-$750
CFNA: Firestone-$1.6K
CitiBank: Office Depot Business Card-$1K

Mine was expedited as well and didn't come with anything other than the terms/conditions and the additional card benefits.

I wish I got the nice presentation...I had to Google to find all the Card Benefits.
