My PRG card came in something like that too. Could it be because its a business platinum and not the personal one? Any new personal platinum members to chime in?

It was my understanding that if one of your parents was born there or if you were born there you could register to become a citizen. Not sure if they changed those standards or not. I qualify :)

They used to offer one here, the platinum cash back card. You could get either in blue or platinum. They then changed it to platinum cash rebate card because of trademark issues. They no longer offer the card but existing card members still have it. I believe the costco card also used to be platinum.

I think your right, Exdoll. They probably do ship the personal platinum cards in a regular envelope and business platinum cards in a premium format...a box. And a pretty snazzy box at that! Either way, a platinum card is a platinum card. Benefits up the waaa-zooo! I can't wait to get mine. Enjoy your platinum card, Twelfthjoe. You Da-Man now!!
Cards:
American Express: Business Platinum-NPSL, Delta SkyMiles Gold-$2K
Chase: Sapphire Preferred-$5K, Southwest Airlines Visa-$3.7K, Freedom-$400
USAA: Platinum MC-$4K, Advantage Rate MC-$4K, Amex-$4K
FBNO: BucksBack Visa-$1K, Amex-$1.7K
GECRB: Walmart Discover-$3,7K
Barclays: Financing Visa-$3.2K, Juniper MC-$1.1K
Capital One: Platinum MC-$1.5K, Platinum MC-$750
CFNA: Firestone-$1.6K
CitiBank: Office Depot Business Card-$1K

Anyways it came by UPS today and I was expecting a box or something like you see in the videos however I just got an envelope with the card in it and the cardholder agreement. There where no books of any kind to tell me about the benefits or anything. Is this normal or did something go wrong?

That's weird, I got it a few days ago with a book of benefits in a sealed box.

If you want an HK credit card and have a year to spare, there's a way.
