All you need is the billing address for your Amex: They should be very happy to give it to you. I prefer to have the money withdrawn by Chase because it then appears on my list of payments which also includes the date and amount of the last payment; both these help me to orient myself. On the other hand Amex can be told to get the money on the exact date when it is due which keeps it longer in your account -- as if that makes any different with a bank interest at <.1%. I think the major (only?) factor is tracking ease.
