Also if you make a payment via telephone rep, they will allow you to overpay your bill as well by some amount. I want to say 5k or 8k. Basically, I was able to spend around 30k the first month using this method and something like 50-60k while only needing to do this method one more time.
Amex Centurion, Amex Platinum, Amex BCP 8k->24k (5/23/12), Amex TE 15k, Cap One 1.5% 15k->20k (8/7/13), CSP 25k, Chase Palladium 100k, Citibank AA 35k (AU), Firestone 1.8k->2.2k->2.4k (8/20/12), JFCU Jloc 30k, PenFed Plat Rewards 30k, SF Fire 30k, US Bank Cash+ 25k

Kak,

Can you give me more details on that payroll company? Do they charge fee for using AMEX? Also, will they pay 1099 people?

Crashem that is my hope. Most of the big spending goes to 1099 employees. I outsource everything, I even 1099 myself just enough to pay the bills.

Im sure if I called amex they would definately help me find a payroll company that takes their card.

You should call and ask amex for the specific payment address for your card. It will be cleaner that way. Also, what is link to that payroll company?

No link as I do not have the business amex yet. Setting my signts on the plum.

Like I said, I would be willing to bet Amex would help you find one that took Amex. They want your business for sure.

Oh I bet there is a surcharge to use credit card which would negate any rewards.

Very true, but it is becoming a convinence factor as well. Id rather not hire an employee to do this so I will bring the business to a payroll company anyway even if they don't take amex.

How are rewards taxed? Cash rewards may be a way to bring cash out of the company to me tax free... Maybe not...

The overnight payment address worked. I just sent a much larger amount than 30.

Thanks for the help!

I just discovered some new info that may be pertinent -

Amex will only let you hold a negative balance for 90 days before they send a check to you. Also, from what the internet says, excessive negative balances may trigger financial review.

Proceed with caution.
