Authorized an user to a card who's under 18?

Postby DeadSpider » Thu Jul 19, 2012 12:19 am

I was thinking is it possible to add my baby she's 8 months now as AU on my Amex ?
Age limit maybe ?

It will be nice to have long credit history as AU and not deal with student cards at later age.

Makes me laugh in the UK it says they have to be 18 but all sales and customer service advisors just say put there DOB as 18 and we can leave a note on their card with the real DOB. Amex trying to get us to commit fraud?

I think it is not that AmEx is trying to get customers into fraud; it is the customer service representatives/advisors.
