Credit Limit isn't based on your credit scores, it is based on your income. I have a 730-750 score but my CL is only 2K and that is because I only make 12k a year
March 2011- Wellsfargo Cash Back College Card
May 2012- Chase Freedom
May 2012- Discover IT
August 2012- American Express Blue Cash Everyday

Actually I feel the single biggest determining factor with CL with new card is what CLs you have already. Hence Amex revolvers are great for their consumer friendly CLI policies (3x soft based CLI). That 10k Amex could be 30k in 61 days.

Actually sasuke, 10k is generous given your existing card limits. Remember credit score has little to do with what cli. You can have 830 credit score (basically perfect credit) with 3 cards ith 500 dollar limit. No one is going to give that person a 5k credit card. I like to look at credit scores as grades in a class. Sure you got an A but it was only kindergarten and doesn't mean you are ready for advanced astrophysics.

2500 with 7500 initiation fee. Doubt it matters to you since centurion is invitation only in USA.

I wouldn't worry about it. You need to get invited to get card. If you spend hundreds of thousands on your Amex for multiple years, you might get invite. But lets worry about whether or not its worth it if/when you get invite.
