Travel + Leisure Elite?

Postby thomaswhitehall » Wed Jun 20, 2012 3:43 pm

I recently received a promotion to join this for $69.95 annually but I get $200 in restaurant certificates just for trying out the membership for 1 month.

Has anyone else recently received this or have signed up for this in the past? A free $200 sounds good to me since I dine out frequently...

I don't think it's a card....kind of like an extension of your membership?

I have both the green and the gold charge cards.

What would you say is frequently?

Most of the spend on my Amex is from dining out

I have the Travel & Leisure Elite Traveler membership. Decided to add it on as part of my platinum benefits. It's worthless unless you take cruises annually or more than once per year. Seriously it is ALL cruise deals! And some hotel deals, but nothing better than if you were booking through the American Express Travel website...

what Bmw1990z means if you travel on business and you dine out per month 15 days that would be frequently. but if you only eat out on Fridays and Saturdays that's not enough..

Thomas I received the same information you got. to get the 200.00 does it have to be selected restaurants ?, or can you use it at any restaurant you want? this offer sounds familiar.

Yeah I got the same thing you did.

I actually got two offers to two different programs both offering $200 each. I took them both, so getting $400 in gift certs from Amex unless they don't allow me for some reason.

I think it's from a list of restaurants, only submitted the forms like 2 weeks ago. (promo was good for several months.)

I'll let you know when I get it, I think it's for selected restaurants but there a lot of them
