Not using the card after activating

Postby Kicker » Tue Jun 19, 2012 5:15 pm

Hey everyone, I activated my green card on the 14th (last thursday) and I have yet to use it. I guess the fact that it's a charge card makes me think twice before using it since I haven't gotten my pay check yet. Should I use my card for atleast something asap? I heard some people lost their cards for neglecting it.

Thanks a lot for your time
My Wallet:

AMEX Green - NPSL (Obtained 2012)

Being that amex approved you for the green card I'm sure they will rather collect the annual fee than cancel your card. How are you playing for your expenses currently? I ask because you have to think twice about using the card because you didn't receive your paycheck.

I see. At the moment I'm just paying with cash. Ever since I got my 1st card late 2011, I have had this habit of using my card exclusively for things 200 dollars and up. I've noticed other people use their cards for virtually everything though. Should I do the same?

That's the thing..I think og my cards as if they're strictly reserved for expensive things than a mere cup of coffee..I should change my habit though.

If I am thirsty I will hunt down a vending machine that takes cards. Anything for some points.
