Post the address and/or name of retailer and this Cent Holder will play with them LOL

I'll let the rest of you try first.... then I will try hahaahahah

The problem with EMV is that the merchant never usually sees the card as you insert your card into the machine yourself, enter your PIN (or sign if C&S) and then take your card out. We might as well all have blank white cards now.

I think it would stop me in my tracks if I saw an Amex black card. I've honestly never seen one in person only pictures of them online. I've never worked retail where I handled people's cards, but no one I know has one.

So I have a feeling you will be noticed SRT, I am not sure they realize quite how exclusive a card that really is, but I'm sure you will get noticed!

My Cent does not have EMV chip! It's old school swipe only so the clerk always gets to handle it!

What I notice up here is when I shop in boutique/designer shops, no one really cares which suits me fine. Vancouver has its fair share of money.

It gets awkward with other customers waiting when the clerk almost always quite loudly says "oh what is this.... why is it so heavy" while flipping or tapping the card. You don't want to be a 'dick' and ignore them so I almost always sheepishly answer it's made of metal. The next question usually is.... "what are the benefits". To keep things short I say.. "almost anything you can think of and wish to buy"

Then I move on and pack the card away quickly lest Bubba comes to mug me LOL

In all honesty though what I really enjoy about the card is the private shopping the concierge can get me in almost any retailer AND the exemplary service I get in all hotels and restaurants they arrange for me. It's nice to be pampered like a 'movie star' without actually having to be one!

I bought a $5 Little Caesar's pizza w/ my Amex Zync a couple months back- the kid cashier was in love with it. Once I told him it was a charge card with no limit he freaked out- "THAT'S BETTER THAN THE BLACK CARD!"

I LOL'd and took home my $5 pizza.
Currently: American Express Blue Sky, American Express Zync, Chase Freedom Visa, Capital One Newcomers--->converted to Capital One Quicksilver Mastercard NO AF

I wouldn't count on it after all its just a card. There are I'm sure many many many many more high rollers in the Bellevue area. That spot is full of affluent people. As they say, I'm but a small fish in a HUGE BIG @ss pond
