Why do they put "membership since '95" in their ads?

Postby onthemove » Sun Jun 17, 2012 9:24 pm

Why in all the advertisements for their cards, that Amex put "Membership Since 95" and not "Membership Since 58" like they did in the past and before 1995?

I haven't noticed this, but my guess is that they're targeting younger people who weren't around in 1958.
