Will it really take 7-10 days to receive new credit card?

Yep in college lol. I seriously looked at green or prg gold but I think the signup bonus on the delta cards is better.

It won't come overnight. Unless it's a replacement card. Heck my Cent took 5 business days so I can't see them get you yours sooner. I may be wrong though

If you're near the city you can ask to pick up a new card at an Amex travel office.

Apparently there is one near me! Howeverr, I think I will just wait since it will be here early next week. For future reference, does it have to offer financial service?

That's quite a while. My first card (Zync) came in just a few days. Depends on where you live and USPS I guess.

The office just needs to have the card making machine and card blanks. Not all offices have the equipment. When you call Amex they'll let you know where you can have one made.
