Is the first year free on BC Preferred?

Postby DeadSpider » Tue Jun 12, 2012 11:04 am

Hi all been reading here for the past 2 weeks and got lots of good info, so i went ahead and applied for BCP card and was approved when i check the AMEX site the next day. My credit limit is 10K been using for 2 weeks now put on $1000 on it so far and got my first statement !

Now here where i'm little confused it says annual fee of $75 on the first statement where i was under the impression it was free the first year !!

Just check on AMEX doesn't say anywhere that's free first year did i miss something ?

 If you are anything like me. The spending you do in seven months will be more than enough to cover the annual fee.

I just got mine last month and they waived the fee for the first year. It was a special offer along with 150 dollars in rewards if you spend 1000 dollars in the first 3 months. So I would guess it would depend if you got that offer.
