The Centurion benefits I agree are 'close' to those of the Platinum.

I'm a relatively new Centurion cardholder but I think this is right. That PLUS you get top tied membership on some airlines and additional airport access. Also 5 more fee free Amex products

Its seem like if the Platinum is travel card, Amex should allow you to be able to get more points.

Car Rental x2 points
Gas x2 points
Resturants x2 points
Hotels, Inns x3 points
Planes x3 points

half the refund on your Passport…

That always annoyed me about Plat. The fact it gets less points than Premier Gold.
