I was denied for pre-approved credit card invite

Thanks. I won't lie to them. But say if I get a summer job right now, then I would have my own income, would that change anything at all?

Amex, yes it would. As soon as you have income, go ahead and apply. Even with F/R, you can produce your paystubs. Remember after denial, you need to wait 30 days before you can apply again.

Shouldn't have an issue as long as you have some income (assuming this was the only factor in your denial.)
