that doesn't help my cause either, when they see a Louis Vuitton + Amex Card all that crosses their mind is either "stolen, knock-off or spoiled brat"... At least I know they're real, mine and I've earned every penny used to buy them.

The collection is growing pretty fast and my dad is coming back from a long stay in Spain so I expect new additions soon
Amex: Business Platinum (09/12) BCP $10,500 (03/13)
Visa: Capital One Journey $750 (04/11) Chase Freedom $1,800 (04/12)
MasterCard Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select $8,500 (05/13)
Discover: Discover It $2500 (07/11)
Store Cards: Amazon $3900 (12/11) Macy's $500 (04/11) Kohl's $500 (05/12) Victoria's Secret $750 (11/12)

I've never had a second look when I pay with Amex. Literally, nobody seems to care or notice, no matter where I'm at. I had one person say the Zync looked cool but that's it.

I guess I'll have to see what happens when I got to NYC next month. I live in Miami where people are always getting in other's people business and I also have a general issue of looking way younger than I am. My mother says I'll appreciate that when I'm 30, in the meantime is a pain in the neck

As a cashier during the summer, I do sometimes take a second look at cards people pay with, but in KY most don't seem to care what card you have. However, you can usually tell the kind of card a customer will pay with by how they carry themselves....
Cards in my wallet:
-Citi Forward Card for College Students-July 2011
-American Express Platinum Delta Skymiles--July 2013

What area of Kentucky are you in bmw? I used to live in Crestwood, about 20 minutes or so outside of Louisville. Loved it there.

Why not?

I mean, really, what's the big deal of a Financial Review if, when you first opened your account and during all subsequent conversations with Customer Support, you told the truth about your financial status?

If you lied, THAT might be a problem.

So yeah.

But just FYI (and YMMV) I've been with AMEX since 01 and though I've hit some majorly rough patches in terms of financial stability in my earlier years (which AMEX knew about), I never got FRed.

Then again, I never pushed about CLIs and was always prompt in making payments and very seldom carried large balances over a long(er) term.
