She (Lindsay) had to much going for her. Too bad she didn't have the right guidance to ensure she doesn't piss it all away.

Centurion cards have no more limit than any other amex charge card. Its all based on their internal formula. You can pay several times a month (even in first month by calling them) to boost your internal limit quickly. I got mine from around 3ishk to at least 70ishk within 3 months.
Amex Centurion, Amex Platinum, Amex BCP 8k->24k (5/23/12), Amex TE 15k, Cap One 1.5% 15k->20k (8/7/13), CSP 25k, Chase Palladium 100k, Citibank AA 35k (AU), Firestone 1.8k->2.2k->2.4k (8/20/12), JFCU Jloc 30k, PenFed Plat Rewards 30k, SF Fire 30k, US Bank Cash+ 25k

I'm pretty sure with the $300k yearly spending requirement, a $100k charge is going to be approved in that formula.

Nope. First off the spending requirements were originally like 100k and moved up over time. Many people got card without spending even close to spending requirement. I know guys back in day would put 20ishk on card for a month or two, then called and asked for card and got it. Know others, including myself, was offered business centurion card without spending one dime. The point is the centurion card doesn't change your internal limit by one dollar. If green or even zync spent at same pattern and has same income/credit history, they will have similar credit lines. Plenty of people I know who got card then stopped spending and their internal limits are probably crappy now. Part of reason Amex had to stop invites for a while. They made it too easy to get and there are no ongoing spend requirements to keep it.

Is it weird if the first month I had my new PRG card (first charge card, also a Delta Gold from December with a $1000 limit), initially reported income of just $7500 (I'm barely still in college), and a yet-to-be-updated card account on my report with a $4000 over-max balance (~650 fako), that my spending limit (counting some large purchases -- all of which were approved -- and a spending check) was somewhere around $8000? Or was I just stupidly lucky?
